Memorial or Sick Reminder?

As everyone knows, the 10 year anniversary of one of the worst attacks on America’s soil will be occurring. A day that some don’t want to relive, and then there are others who get a sick kick out of reliving it.

Why would anyone want to sit and stare at what remains of the twin towers?

I was watching the news today and they announced that a few pieces of the ‘twisted metal’ will be displayed in Denver. Ooh sign me up!

I’d rather see a memorial for those who died, not pieces of the building they died in! I don’t know what will come from looking at destroyed metal besides the raw truth that someone died in that metal, that someone’s son, daughter, mother, father, brother, sister, aunt, uncle and so on, all died in that metal.

I pray for those who did lose ones they loved on that fateful day, and I would love to hear their opinion on looking at the scrap metal. If it were me, I would not want any of that near me!

What do you guys think?

The scrap metal is worthless to look at, ...........but then it gives us a reminder of the horrible destruction fanatics did on that day! It should wake us up to the resalization that things change in life and history! It should open our eyes to the destructive force behind Islam and the radicals that perverse religioin creates! It should also remind us how flags flew from homes and business across this great and binding nation!..........and lets not forget the sons and daughters who have died over the past years seeking to destroy those that would destroy us!
