Spaghetti With Shrimp Meal

Betty Crocker Is My Hero!
Ok, so this was my first attempt at a new meal in quite a while. (Normally my hubby cooks, or I make PB & J), and I tell you what, it was fun!
I always thought cooking to be a chore, but I actually enjoyed myself this time.
Peeling a garlic clove was a bitch though! (Thank god for YouTube and how-to videos)
My first clove of garlic took me about 5 or so minutes to peel, but the second one went way quicker since I had an idea on how to do it.
After tearing apart my kitchen I was able to find our chopper so I could make my own minced garlic, which turned out beautifully.
Timing was key on this dish, you had to cook the noodles and then fry the other ingredients while the noodles cooked. (And I had also been baking garlic bread so I had to make sure I timed that right)
I think I used a bit too much pasta, but practice makes perfect.
Since I don’t have a Dutch oven which the recipe calls for, I cooked it all in a cast iron skillet then poured it into a large bowl for serving.
The shrimp was by far my favorite part of it all, my god it turned out so tender, and delicious!
It could have used a bit more oil and vegetable broth, but all in all, it was not bad at all.
For presentation, I give myself a C+
For overall taste I also give myself a C+
