Random Poems

These are just some random poems I have written throughout the years:

If only I could kill the pain,

If only I could win this game.

They do not see the pain in my heart,

Or how this all tears me apart.

I don't want anyone to hate me,

Why can't this pass, why can't it be?

I want the pain to go away,

I'm tired of being the one to pay!

Money only gets you so far,

Buy a house, buy a car.

It can not get you happiness or love,

It will not grant you a place above.

What matters most is here and now,

still confused, I'll show you how.

Friends and family are all that matter,

Even when it makes you fatter!

Take a drink, risk your life,

Thats not the way to be a wife.

Single, sad, with lonely tears,

Pain and suffering through the years.

Things get better as time goes on,

Past now behind you with every new dawn.

Don't lose faith, don't give up,

Take a drink from a half-full cup.

Every day a brand new pain,

What the hell is with my brain?

Happy, sad, torn apart,

What is this pain inside my heart?

A family of love, joy and pleasure,

My kids are truly my purest treasure.

I will go on, day by day,

I know it's all going to be ok.
