Lohan Released Early

Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 120 day in jail for violating her parole when she decided to steal a necklace valued at $2500.

Her attorney filed an appeal before the court closed, after posting a bail of a measly $75,000.

I’m not sure about you, but this outrages me! Why should she be treated any different? If she wasn’t rich, or famous, she would have never been released! When will the courts stop catering to the famous?

Lohan isn’t the first to get away with more than she should have, and yet, because she’s a well known person with a lot of money, she gets off.

After reading the article on yahoo.com I read some of the readers comments and here are a few that I love:

Charles: If it was one of us this wouldn't had happen like this. It must be nice to be famous.

Kanrana: I bet the judge would be out for blood if it was his property that was taken.

Diana: see the rich and stars can do whatever they want and just pay there bail and go do it again. when are we going to get some judges that will threw the book at some of these idiots, I wish I had the money she pays in lawyer fees and he r bond money. I would feel like I was rich and do some idiot things she does for I have the money to. Throw her in and throw away the key she’s never going to learn.

What are your thoughts? Should Lohan be gone easy on because of who she is? Or should she be treated like any other American?
